Avoid exercising the same muscle groups for two consecutive days. You have to take rest for one day before repeating them. If your joints are swollen or painful take a break for two or more days as needed.
Aerobic exercises can improve your overall fitness. It will help you to increase your energy and stamina, control your weight and improve cardiovascular health. Some easier aerobic exercises that can relieve your joint pain include swimming, walking, bicycling, etc.

Over exerting yourself with these exercises will make your condition worse. Therefore, it is important to take it slow. Warm up muscles first before you strengthen your exercise. Do slow impact workouts before moving into intense exercises.
